High Life vase

Sold

Height 33.5 cm.

The vase is marked as 2.assortment due to an unfinished air bubble in the foot.
The High Life is designed by Per Lütken in 1979 and is taken out of production in 1990.

The glass is part of Per Lütken's "fight" against the thin glasses made in the 1960s, therefore he designede Skibsglasset and Tivoli Copenhagen.

High Life is a technical hard glass to manufacture, which made be taken out of production relatively fast.

The 4 spirals in the foot were to be injected through a wet wooden stick in the massive foot, which was then to be rotated and the cuppe itself was to be molded, the glass was to be cut of the by the glass makers pipe and the drinking edge formed.
