Free Masons glass from the beginning of the 20th century

Sold

Height 9.8 cm.

The glass has a minor chip on the bottom of the foot.
Freemason glass is also called Rakkerglas, due to the tradition of racking them.
To rack is to beat the glass on to the table after doing a toast. This was a tradition of inns, bars and the like in the 19th century. Most often the glass would break.

Despite the great production numbers, the Free Masons glass is therefore very rare today.
