The picture frame is carved in solid ebony and with a highly decorative support, also in ebony.

Ebony is a hard and slowly growing tree. Its complete black color has made the tree preferable to intarsia and other forms of inlays in furniture and, for example, handles.

The image must be placed behind the glass and mounted with a piece of cardboard behind it, stuck with frame tape. The leg is loose, but can easily be glued.
