Pressed schnapps glass from the 1910s

Sold

Height 7.5 cm.
The glasses varies in height, suggesting that they are made on the various Danish glass works.
Press glass schnapps glass with facets and olives.
The glass is difficult to place because it does not appear directly in any Danish glass catalog, but can be found in Holmegaard's sample collection.
Almost all Danish glassworks around 1900 produce a liqueur glass in the same shape, but without the cuts, this is called Søren. Kastrup Glasværk manufactures from 1900 onwards a series of press glasses, including, children's glasses, schnapps glasses and in 1924 they come with a pressed Derby glass. It is most likely that this glass is an attempt to produce a pressed Søren glass that has been very popular.
