The vase is signed Holmegaard PL 2449. It is made in August 1971.
Exceptionally large and chubby model of the Duckling vase, designed by Per Lütken in 1952. The vase is smoke grey almost Labrador.

The Duckling vase first was taken out of production in the 1970s.
It has been produced in more than 10 sizes and in more than 6 colors.
