Height 10.5 cm.
Unusually cut port wine glass from the late 1800s.
This style of decor is most often seen on colored glass vases, allowing the facets in a cross cut to create a little reflection for the light. We have not seen drinking glasses this way before.
The glass is mouth blown with a cracked and polished top edge. Its stem is reversed baluster-shaped and with a big molex to the foot, which is leveled.
It is in good condition though with some air bubbles in the glass mass. There might be a few micro nods at the drinking edge, this is from the production where the glass is cut off.
