Aluminia Soda Syre jug

Sold

Height 23 cm.

The jug is factory marked from 1868-1922.
Nice old jug from Aluminia with two rooms.

At the beginning of the 20th century, "sodas" were made from juice with added tartaric acid or citric acid. In soda room, there would also be juice in which baking soda is added. When poured from the jug into a glass, the lemonade will combine and bubble like modern sodas.

The jug is with its original lid, but has unfortunately taken on a little color on the side and bottom.
