Miniature from the 1800th century

Sold

Height 4.5 cm.
Width 4 cm.

The picture depicts Louise Augusta of Denmark.
Officially she was the daughter of Christian 7. and Caroline Mathilde, but it is presumed that her biological father was Johann Friedrich Struensee. Caroline Mathilde had an affair with Struensee, who actually served as shadow king for the mentally ill Christian on the 7th.

The picture is set in brass frame and is in good condition.
The original back in gold is missing. The number on the back is a auction number.
Item number: 6931
