Holmegaard's first preserved catalog dates from 1853, in which this glass is seen.
At that time they were not named, but simply giving numbers. This glass is simply called No. 28 and is one of the rarest glasses from the 1853 catalog.

It is blown with a clear snapped pontil underneath.
It is with blown optics, stripes on the cuppa and a clear rim between the feet and the stem.

The glass is with natural traces of wear.
It has a microscopic chip at the edge and a little glass sickness.
