Georg Jensen brooch by Sigvard Bernadotte

Sold

Diameter 3 cm.

Hall marked Georg Jensen 5012A
When there was a silver shortage during World War II, Georg Jensen had to reschedule parts of their production to produce steel products. At the outbreak of the war, they had steel lying at the factory normally used to make pistons for cutlery production.

This change did, among other things, that the Mitra cutlery came into being in 1941.

This brooch is designed by Sigvard Bernadotte. It is with eight sets of small silver balls and the leaves are in steel.

The brooch is in very good condition.
