Rare Blue Flower fruit basket from the 1780s

Hallmarked from the period 1776-1800. It is marked by Lars Hansen, Royal Copenhagen's first blue painter, who was employed from 1776 to 1800, possibly up to 1811. He has been referred to as the factory's best painter.

The fruit basket is a special model we have not seen before, with extra decoration in the porcelain itself and with nice tight cut-out holes.

It is in good condition despite its age, but has some repairs. Both handles have old fillings and on one edge it has a small chip, approx. 1 mm. The painting has a slight manufacturing defect. Apart from this it is in perfect condition.
