Bio:
Gino Scarpa (1924–2022) was an Italian-born painter, sculptor and printmaker who settled in Norway in the 1950s. He worked across painting, printmaking and sculpture, and his works are characterized by a poetic abstraction where forms and colors merge into a harmonious whole. Scarpa is represented in several Nordic museums as well as in international collections.
