Bio:
Bengt Orup (1916–1996) was a central figure in Swedish modernism. He is particularly known as artistic director at Johansfors Glasbruk during the 1960s–70s, where he developed a strong modernist idiom in glass. Alongside his glasswork, he produced paintings and graphic art, often with geometric and abstract qualities that reflect his focus on form and structure.
