Bio:
Carl Auböck II (1900–1957) was an Austrian designer and a central figure in 20th-century modernist decorative arts. He continued his familys workshop in Vienna and became renowned for functional everyday objects made from materials including brass, leather and wood. The workshops distinctive design language was continued by subsequent generations, and Auböck designs gained international recognition through leading design retailers such as Illums Bolighus.
