Bio: 
Nanny Still (1926-2009) was a Finnish glass artist and designer, educated at the School of Arts and Crafts in Helsinki in 1949. She is best known for her collaboration with Riihimäki Glassworks, where she created iconic glass designs characterized by bold colors and geometric forms. In the 1950s she moved to Belgium, working with Raak and other manufacturers, developing pieces that combined glass and metal. Still is regarded as one of the most important Nordic designers, and her works are represented in museums and collections worldwide.
